We are doing well at the convention. Sue is doing art directly on her iPad at the show. Looks real good.
My reactions to the con center are interesting. One thing I do not like about swelling as an allergic reaction is that it brings a lot of joint pain with it. *sigh*

is there anything you can take to lessen the swelling due to allergies? Benedryl or some natural remedy? Your DR. have any suggestions better than "don't go"?
a daily course of Glucosamine and/or chondroitin may help...not sure though...
I appear to allergic to something in Benedryl. It has the interesting side effect of making me drunk, or , at least the worst effects of being drunk.
My old Doc's advice was just that. If you find a building that makes you sick, stay out of it. He was of the old "if it hurts, don't do it twice" school.
It is completely empirical observation, but I think buildings are getting worse for people with allergies like my own. My Doc has a dozen other patients with similar cases. He has no answers.
They could be getting worse. the chemicals used in construction are changing (to things further andfurther away from natural material) as well as getting sealed up tighter"for energy savings" thus not allowing the buildup of toxins to leak out. I point at Radon as an example... 30 years ago it was not a problem as we were still opening windows and had gaps under our doors, now many homes have radon testing done when build and dectors built in just like the smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. *sigh* Progress isn't always progress is it?
Sometimes you need to look carefully at progress and ask yourself if this is designed for the progress of all people or just for a few people..
