I keep starting Blog entries...

The old brain is in a malaise here at the clanhold. I have become certain that everything bad has already happened and I can't get my head around it. Darned depressing. Everytime I actually research one of the "end of the world" scenarios they turn out to be wrong. Do any of these so called "news" people do any research? I always thought the National Enquirer just created titles for articles for stories and then made up a story for it. I am starting to believe the National Enquirer has become the supplier for all news. Then I noticed that news channels have laid off their research staffs. They really are making it up.

The world IS a depressing place and we can't change that so we must try to change our attitude. Yea, easier said than done, I fight depression every day of my life. With that said, check your diet and see if you are getting abundant amounts of the B-Complex vitamins. I have friends who swear by that to control the "crazy" that their husband seem to get when the husbands stop taking any B-complex vitamins for a few days.

You bring up an intersting point - lack of research. We seem to have become a "knee jerk" society and react to any claim that comes along be it real or imagined. Could you imagine what would happen if people stopped to rationally think their way through all the retoric being thrown about? If they looked up facts and figures for themselves? We would have completely different people in congress for one thing... in both parties!

The unreliable congress critters seem to be in two anti-american parties. The one socialist is at least honest.

It appears to me the founding fathers should have gone for separation of state, religion and capitalism, instead of just state and religion.

I wonder if any of them know why we created our constitution? Do any of them weigh the laws they are considering against the purpose of our government?

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
